In 2021 the three sisters of ORO Vintage Jewellery designed a collection of rings in collaboration with wedding planner With Lotte. Inspired by women of the world, they have designed a collection for women. Women of all colors. Of all shapes. The women in your life and those not directly in your life but who you know are here too. Here to admire, inspire, respect, connect and love.
An ode to this connection and union of women of the world. A collection that brings an Ode to women of the world by taking a vow for girls.
The collaboration consists of a collection of four recycled 14-carat golden rings. Designed from the concept, each ring brings an ode to women and their unity. A ring that shows the entanglement between women. A ring that shows the organic flow and changes in a relationship. A ring that shows all the shapes and colours of women. A ring with a jasmine flower which stands symbolic for hope for mutual feelings, tenderness, friendship and loving loved ones.
With both a love for conserving beauty in a sustainable way and admiration for the unity of women, a collaboration was born.

The rings are not in line with each other in terms of design and aesthetics, but in their own way they stand for the same philosophy. A ring for your mother, your sister, your grandmother, your soulmate, your best friend, your witness, your bridesmaid, your love. Your whoever. The person you share with, think of or want to be reminded of everyday. A ring that is an ode to a woman or women in your life.
‘I often get the question from my brides, if I know a nice something they can give to their bridesmaids, witness, mother, their whoever. To thank them, honour them, ask an important question. There is a lot to be found on the internet, but I always advise them to give something timeless. Something that will last a lifetime and actually means something. Something that reminds you of your bond. Every day. Therefore, I gave my witnesses a golden pinkring. A copy of my wedding ring. Since they have made a vow too when becoming my witnesses. Why do we VOW?
VOW for Girls is a growing global movement that partners with brands and individuals to end child marriage. VOW for Girls is a vow for the future. Lotte Groosman: ‘as a proud ambassador of VOW for Girls, I am looking for ways to bring more awareness in the Netherlands and beyond to help end child marriages. I am thankful that Oro shares this mission with me and we were able to not just create something beautiful, but give a deeper meaning and bring a most important message with our collaboration.’
We believe in the unity of women around the world and see the potential in every girl. So, we strive to ensure her rights are respected and her dreams protected. Every girl has the right to own her future. But every year, 12 million girls, some as young as 8, become child brides. No child should ever be a bride.
